The Nepal Radio Station has now reached the next stage of development. As previously reported a house to hold the studio and erect the antenna has been obtained. The ongoing cost for these is approx. £200 per month.
The trial period for the broadcasting of programs began on Mon 8th May at 8pm with our first 30 min program being aired. The relevant Nepali authorities observe the programming over the next number of weeks. It is our prayer that approval will be granted and that the programs can be lengthened to an hour for a month and eventually to 4 hours a day thereafter.
Rev Thapa writes “We are greatly thankful for your prayers and financial support for this project. I never thought that we will have such ministry and the work in the land of Nepal. …this will be a big means to spread the gospel of Christ around many villages. “
