LTBS Shop
Since the LTBS shop was opened in Banbridge in late Nov 18- we have known the Lords blessing upon this new venture. Countless numbers have been the encouragements with many of those coming from the conversations that the Lord has opened up.
There is a palpable sense of joy among Gods people from all walks of life that they can support a Christian Charity on the street with their donations, as well as knowing that after expenses, all monies go towards the spread of the gospel message on the radio and Tv networks. So far there hasn't been a month where we haven't covered our costs and had a surplus to go towards the radio and TV programs. Truly this is the Lords doing and is marvellous in our eyes.
Due to the amazing support and generosity of our churches, and individuals as well as the ordinary customers off the street, we took a step of faith to open another another store in the city of Armagh.
Our Aims
The purpose of LTBS had always been to get the unadulterated and saving word of the gospel out to whoever will hear it. We use various platforms and means to achieve that goal, and the shops are but a visible part of that greater work.
Contacts Made
People from Republic of Ireland have come in to buy AV Bibles as well as ask about the ministry. A family from Scotland on holiday made a day trip to Banbridge in order to locate the LTBS shop - as they had seen the LTBS TV program back home.
A local man spoke of how his sons had got saved and was interested in finding out more. He took a number of the LTBS magazines.
Customer Feedback
The feedback that we are continually receiving is that is the 'best of its kind' in the town, and that is no mean feat with at least 7 other similar units in Banbridge. People have commented upon the variety; the cleanliness - that it doesn't look like or feel like a charity shop; as well as the friendliness of the staff. We want to keep the standard high as we believe it exalts the Lord and is a good testimony to the excellent long standing work that LTBS has been engaged in, for now over 45 yrs.
Donations
Good quality donations have been received and we are grateful for all that has come in. Some of our churches have particularly been very supportive with announcing it and making room for donations to be collected on their premises, before transporting them to Banbridge.
Volunteers
We are very appreciative of our volunteers who on a daily basis assist the shop manger. It is because of our volunteers that we have been able to keep the shop tidy, replenish the stock, as well as open the extra day in the week.
Prayer
Will you continue to pray for the work and witness of the shop - that the Lord might bless it to many people and even through it, souls will meet with Christ in salvation. Please pray for our manager and other helpers that they would be kept in good health and in safety.
